PUBLIC HEARINGS SCHEDULED for PROPOSED ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS

Sadsbury Township Board of Supervisors will hold two public hearings on Monday, Jun 22, 2026 at the Sadsbury Township Municipal Building, 9888 State Highway 285, Conneaut Lake, PA 16316. The first hearing will begin at 6:00 pm for the purpose of taking public comments on an application by Todd Joseph, dba 1712 CBM LLC, to amend the Sadsbury Township Zoning Map as adopted and amended by Sadsbury Township Zoning Ordinance No. 204–2013 Article 2. The application requests consideration to rezone parcel #4403-002-70 from Suburban Residential to R-1 Lake Area Residential. The second hearing will begin immediately following conclusion of first hearing for the purpose of amending the Sadsbury Twp Subdivision & Land Development Ordinance #211-2021 as amended to revise Section 201 Table 201 and Section 202 Approval Bodies to clarify review and approval responsibilities for decisions on plans, preliminary or final, for expanding land subdivisions, lot line revisions, minor and major subdivisions, minor and major land developments, and mobile home parks. All interested persons may appear and be heard at this time. Sadsbury Township proposes to enact the proposed amendments at the regular meeting of the Sadsbury Township Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 1:00 pm. A copy of the proposed amendments may be examined at the Sadsbury Township Municipal Building, Mon-Fri, 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, or at www.sadsburytownship.com. SHORT-TERM RENTAL ORDINANCE ADOPTED
Sadsbury Township Board of Supervisors adopted a Short-Term Rental Ordinance which requires all owners of short-term rental units to secure an annual License from Sadsbury Township, effective 2025. The license fee is $50 per unit up to 4 units and $25 for each additional unit. Please submit the Short-Term Rental License Application and fee to the township office. Application may be submitted via email to sadsbury@sadsburytownship.com. Once License is issued, it must be posted in a visible place within the STR unit. Please contact the township office at 814-382-8579 with any questions.
