The Conneaut Lake Joint Municipal Authority provides collection and treatment of sewage for portions of Sadsbury and Summit Townships. The Authority is governed by a Board of Directors appointed by the Board of Supervisors of Sadsbury and Summit Townships.

BILLING & PAYMENTS
The Authority bills for service on a monthly basis. Payments may be placed in the drop box outside the office door, sent by mail or use online bill pay. Online Bill pay is available for current billings only. Convenience fees apply. Contact the office for payment of liens, inspections or tap-in fees.
RATES — EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2024
Monthly Rate – $60.00, due by the 15th of each month
Annual Rate – $720.00 (there is no longer a discount for annual payment)
Late Fee – $6.00; payment must be received by the end of regular office hours on the 15th or late fee will be added to account.
Postage and Handling Fee – $3.00 – will be assessed unless you sign up for e-billing.

NSF charges – $50.00 will be accessed for returned checks or non-sufficient funds.
COLLECTION AGENCY – PORTNOFF LAW ASSOCIATES
Starting August 1st, 2024, delinquent sewer fees are being forwarded to Portnoff Law Associates for collection. Please note that delinquent accounts may be subject to interest and collection costs.

PRE-SALE IINSPECTIONS REQUIRED
As of 2/7/2018, the CLJMA adopted a policy requiring pre-sale inspections for all residential and commercial customers. An inspection of the Service Lateral is required prior to the sale or transfer of any real property serviced by the CLJMA. In conjunction with this inspection by the Authority, the customer shall, at the Customer’s expense, have a video inspection of the Service Lateral performed by a qualified video camera operator capable of producing a clear record of the video inspection, and shall provide the Authority with a copy of the video record. Please contact the CLJMA office at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled time of video inspection. Permits
Permits are required for new service or a change in existing service.
Permit applications can be obtained by calling or visiting the Authority office during business hours.
